F=Flat, R=Rollers (elev<250 ft), MH=Moderate Hills (elev 250-750ft), H=Hilly (elev >750ft)
R=Relaxed (<12mph), S=Slow (12-15mph), M=Moderate (15-18mph), B=Brisk (>18mph)
MPH is based on Average for the whole ride, not cruising speed

Saturday Sep 27 The Gold Country. Ride the roads of the old Sierra Century. Start in Plymouth, through the Shenandoah valley, up Slug Gulch, Olmo Ranch Rd to Cook's Station on Highway 88, returning down 88 and Shake Ridge. For a metric century go directly back to Plymouth via Fiddletown. For a 100 mile ride go to Sutter Creek, loop back through Volcano, Rams Horn (or Charleston), to Shake Ridge, and back on Fiddletown Road.
